I don't think I've stumped you guys with a simple control question have I. The obvious answer is "carefully". But is it just a matter of prying the rubberish knob from the square metal head on the switch? I'm trying to replace the switch and can see that the mounting screws are behind the plastic bezel that rides under the knob. Any ideas? I'm really not in the habit of breaking one piece to repair another.
Thanks, Greg |

Answered my own question. For anyone interested, the answer is heat. They do just press on but without a little help from the heat-gun I'm pretty sure I would have broken the knob.

Or.. you could have frozen the shaft!
Only kidding Greg. Great tip you gave for lots' of stuff we all run into; but forget. |
