1971 911 Blinker's not working (my fault)

So I got all my lights working the other day after five years, then I was running a fuel line out of the car for venting and the steel braided line hit my fuses blowing the number 1 fuse. All the other fuses I've checked and the wires coming in and out of the box and they seem fine.

Now since that blown fuse I have this problem with my blinkers

With the ignition turned off I turn the turn signal left or right and all four turn signal lights come on at the same time but don't flash.

With the ignition off emergency flasher works

With ignition turned on and moving the turn signal left or right all four lights will flash like the hazard lights are on

With ignition on and headlights on and moving the turn signal left or right nothing will happen. No blinking of any kind

With ignition on and headlights on hazard lights won't flash.

I replaced the blinker/flasher relay with a brand new one since I had it, but the problem continues. I've checked the connections and wires under the dash and the connection to the emergency flasher.

Any advice?

I read that, but the fact they were working just fine prior to me blowing that fuse leads me to believe maybe the arch burnt a wire. I hate to tear into the steering column if it's not necessary.

That was my first thought as well.

The hazard switch has electrical components diodes, resistors. It's possible that it's shorted.

I wondered if that could be the problem. When I first was trying to get the cars lights sorted out, it was a loose connection to the hazard switch that solved all my problems. The behavior is similar this time, but the connection is fine.

Is there a way for me to test if the hazard switch is good or bad?

Maybe, if you can get a schematic.
