Holy sh@t! It's hard to believe that such an incredibly basic automobile body panel needs its own thread (and in this case, the body panel in question does absolutely NOTHING except sit there!)! Dayumn, youse guys here are definitely the kings of the nerds!

I looked for 2 years before finding this '78 Euro "stripper" model 911.
No A/C, no power windows locks etc, no sunroof. A very light basic sports car.





Two years later this was the result of the efforts. 2700lb wet w/ driver.
Manual sports seats, spartan interior and 350WHP 3.3L 930 engine.

You know from a pure profile shot from ground level the difference between a sunroof car and a non-sunroof is as different as night and day. The differences are so blinding that this thread deserves to be Stickied for all eternity + an extra eternity. Absolutely unbelievable.
