How much $ for spring plate bushing replacement
I did a quick search of the threads here but didn't find an answer. Could someone tell me what to expect to spend to have my rear spring plate bushings replaced, using neatrix bushings. Basically looking for labor cost of bushing replacement and wheel allignment.
Thanks in advance for your feedback. |

I would charge 2.5 hours a side + parts. $200.00 for a 4 wheel alignment.

I did it my self in about 8 hours a bit longer than a shop but its actually not that hard of a job, a good shop may do it in 4 and they may (at least I would think a serious Porsche shop would) align the rear wheels as part of the job (or do it at a discounted price).
so lets say 4 hours @100ish an hour and $150 for the alignment, 550ish + parts. Regards Dave

This is a job I would definitely be willing to do in the future, but as of now I have no good work space, so I'm limited. First things first, a garage with enough room to work in and scissor lift, then "I'm off to the races".
Thanks for the input Dave |

I also did a good job of stinking up the house while burning the old bushings off... Regards Dave

Depends a lot on where you live. About $750 labor two weeks ago in my town plus $250 for Elephant Racing's polybronze bearings; Neatrix are of course less. But if I'd bought the ER product six years ago when I last installed Neatrix I'd have saved the $750!

As long as you are in there...
Is it likely that the inner arm pivot bushings need replacement?, if the spring plate bushings are bad?? Might as well do it as long as you are in there.
If the front end has been done recently, then it makes sense to do a corner balance and align. chris |

Yeah, you need to corner balance after that.
