![]() Can someone tell me where this belong in the chain of 911 engine models? It has a Aluminum case, not the earlier Mag. It also has a strange location for the Serial Nr. Its on the face instead of the side of the right alternator support, with stars on each end of the stamped Nr. Len

901/06 started in 67 and went to 68 130hp.
The early sand cast cases have the serial # on the face. When the mag cases were made, there was not enough room to stamp. So they moved it to the right.
