best wideband O2 sensor/ system out there??
Ok, guys... I have an Innovate LC-1, and am NOT impressed with it, its performance, or the company.
What do some of you run, and which ones do you swear by? FYI, I really dont need a bunch of features, as my ECU does the data logging for me. I just want it to be accurate!!!

The only other one I can think of is an AEM system, I do not know what is considered their standard setup. Wideband UEGO Air/Fuel Controllers | AEM

I use LC1 and LMA-1/2 on different cars. They work fine; install properly then forget about it except for an annual free air calibration just for good measure.
Considering this for features and simplicity: EAW-52 Wideband Controller | VEMS US

Do you need RPM also? Almost seems "useless" without it. (almost)
A lot of them do seem to offer RPM input as well, which seems necessary from a tuning perspective. Todd

I like my innovative MTX. I was told it has a faster sampling time and newer technology than the lc1.

Check out products from 14point7. They have a bunch of very nice wideband O2 (UEGO) sensors and other stuff, for very very fair prices.

No, my ECU (Link G4 extreme) has all of that. Just not happy with the Innovate. Was wondering what others are using.

Wideband installation
Does the AF gauge require a new O2 sensor bung placed in the exhaust in addition to the one there or can you hook into the existing wiring somehow?

Stock o2 sensor on all except newest are narrowband. You can program the LMA output to mimic the narrow band and it has 2 output channels... So one can be wideband output too.

So, to get a REAL sideband reading, welding a new bung to the exhaust would be the best, correct? I assume it would need to be placed before the catalytic converter (or, in my case, the pre-muffler)?

Samples 1000 X's a second and the display will change tenths of an AFR faster than you can see/interpret.

To circle back on this, I did end up buying the 14point7 iDash. I've written up the installation and use as I wasn't able to find any reviews on it. So far I like it.

I have 2 MTX's fitted to my V12 and they have worked perfectly for 2 years, the response is very fast. Recently one of the gauges has started acting up and I think one of the sensors is going strange. I've ordered a new one.
For the money I think innovate kit is good. Just make sure you mount your sensor a little way back from the header and in the upper section of the pipe....between 9 and 3 O Clock.

Better? I'm not sure. It suites my particular needs better. All the information is up on their website - 14point7.com.
It seems to support a lot more inputs, a lot more display options, don't have to install the display, and uses the same Bosch sensor. It's $299 for single sensor and controller, $399 for dual sensors. Todd
