Help rear trailing arms question

What is the difference in the 911 trailing arms from a 1975 to a 1987.... will the 1975 trailing arms work temporarily on a 1987 just to make it a roller only.

I believe the only difference in '74 to '89 is with the turbo models being different (i.e., shorter).
