Making Progress! Engine is in - with PMO
I'm made a lot of progress this weekend and the engine is back in the car. I still have lots of little to-do's so it will be about a week before the first startup with the new PMO EFI & Electromotive.
I'm feeling like I can see the end of the tunnel. Here's a progress pic - lots of little wires to clean up and add connectors to. When I'm finished with the entire project, I will start a "start to finish" thread with better pics. ![]() |

Watch out, a Labrador Retriever left his rollers on your carb intakes.......if mine saw that he wouldn't sleep for a week!

Hi tidyboy, I'm waiting anxiously for the start-up. Beautiful. Also looking forward to reading the whole project thread. If your going to do it, do it right. That you did, awesome.

I wish I had the time, patience, energy, money, brains and balls to do something like that. In other words, it looks fantastic. Good on ya, Vern.

If only I could go a little faster and get this finished. I have committed myself to two hours per night to get it wrapped up but then I've ended up working late every night.
I can at least report that I have cleaned my garage and I'm ready to finish the job. The only open items are to finish terminating sensor plugs, install the front & rear sway bars, finish the wiring for the fuel pump moved to the front, mount the fuel filter & fuel pressure regulator, adjust the rear alignment to get back to my markings (everything got moved during rear bushing replacement & I finally found & bought the correct allen wrench to make adjustments), Install front seats & shifter. Now, if I can't get all that done in the next week or so, something is wrong with me! |

You'd be surprised at how little I can get done in a week working a couple hours every night. Worlds slowest mechanic!
