Help identifying this part?

87 Carrera. Found this in the back seat today. Seats had been folded flat. Rear seat belt fixtures are pretty chewed up, but don't see where this would have fit inside the retractable rear seat belt assembly. No idea where else it might have come from.

That looks like a piece that goes on the passenger seatbelt to keep it from flapping when the window is down - just my guess.

Scale it.........

Hard to figure out how big this clip without any reference. Show a picture beside a ruler or a quarter (coin). But if I would make a guess, it is not an automotive part particularly a 911. It looks like an old money clip.

It is one of the clips used to hold the floor mats in place

+1.
As I recall, to prevent mats sliding some after market mats, such as Lloyds, have braided straps at the back of the front mats that you thread through the bottom of the seat rails and attach to the said clip at the rear edge of the rail.

Yes, floor mat clip. Recently installed a new set of Lloyd Mats in a client's car.

clip

I have them on my Lloyd floor matts also. They clip on the back of the seat rails and hold the straps that clip onto the floor matts to keep them from sliding forward.

I have Lloyds mats, but never installed the clips and straps. I dug them out still new in the unopened pack after you guys reminded me what this thing might be.

I've had most of the interior out at one time or another since I've owned her, but I can't imagine where this one was hiding all this time, weird!

Thanks, all!
