question on how to replace rear shocks on 4 post lift, without bridge jack

1- undo the top nut
2- undo the bottom bolt
3- swap the shock
4- tighten the bottom bolt and top nut
5- done

Am I correct? Or must I put the car on jackstand?

That's pretty much it. However, you'll have to make sure the shock is compressed enough to fit in there, and that's a little tough when the suspension is loaded. Jacking it up helps a lot... Good luck.

??You could drive it without the shocks if you wanted to have a fun time "bounding" down the road.

If it is a drive on 4 post lift you could probably unload the suspension some by jacking at the jack point with your stock jack.

thanks guys.

Draco, will do buddy

I also need to do oil change. Been doing it myself but suddenly forgot how many quarts now, 10 or 12? I didn't drive the car much, so I didn't do it for a year or so. Maybe getting too old now
