Is this stock ?

Looks like someone drilled an inspection port in my transmision at some point.

it was actually pretty awesome as i could see how the fork was engaged .

I can imagine the mess if some rodent gets in there tho ..

il have to see if i can get some kind of cover.

+1, inspection hole. Also used to spray some lube onto the TOB in case it feels sticky or grindy

I think that you'd be OK with a mouse in there as long as it hadn't been eating greasy food.

If you're worried about it...go down to your local parts place and grab one of those plastic plugs they use to close holes when doing anti-rust sprays.
They come in all sorts of sizes...with little "tangs" that grab the inside diameter of the hole.

Strange thread ,it could never be considered a drilled hole in the trans casting to start with ?.
As for the rodent thing..................
Anway sort of funny

Kind of looks like what you stick your screwdriver through when you align the fork with the TO bearing, when you are mating the transmission to the motor.

you gotta think if a mouse saw that hed think he died and went to heaven a perfectly round hole in a dark place cats cant get to

i actually thought about that plug but wondered how hot the transmission gets and if it would melt one of those plugs.

Porschetub i have seen rodents in the least likely of places .. just persuse this forum for a while to see..
