It feels like yesterday that I drove my car in Germany this June but somehow we are almost in November and the driving season here at the 'Ring is almost done. I didn't manage to do as much driving as I originally planned but I hope in a coming post I will be able to sum up my experience having my beloved 911 with me around the...world's(?) coolest track, the Nurburgring.

For now I'll just drop my latest lap done in a beautiful sunny October day with a dry and almost empty track, having fun would be an understatement:

In all honesty finally buying this car, almost one year and a half back, is proving to be one of the best car-related decisions I've ever taken in my whole adult life...

Magnificent post, especially the passion that you have found in the 911 air-cooled.
I was not wrong when I take a decision, a 911 Classic is the best you could buy. Congratulations and thanks for the post and images.
I am also a fan of the Porsche-powered models inimitable flat-6 air-cooled. Toyo tires R-888, to me, are the best for road-circuit, only surpassed by the slicks (but restricted to use on circuit)
Also patience and passion, I have three units. A 911 3.0 RSR FIA Gr.4 1975, a 964 RS Cup 1992 and 993 Biturbo street version.
Also buy a 911 SC 3.0, but I sold it to buy the 3.0 RSR, one of my dreams.
A pleasure to meet you, and share experiences. Joseph

Some 911 photos of my two most loved. Best regards

My favorite circuit, Spa-Francorchamps, with our friends PCGB and Phil Schins with his Porsche 933 Supercup "Vip" original, haunted, for me, lol, with the Porsche 964 RS 305 hp Cup. Very funny video

Oh! Nürburgring-Nordschleife drive is a magical experience. A desire of the two, so I see.

Thanks everyone! I have spend years following builds and threads here and feels almost surreal sharing my own small tidbits of 911 ownership.

Passionporsche you have some amazing cars! Especially this RSR...so good!(Both Spa and 'Ring are amazing tracks in their own unique ways)

bcgreen most of the stuff in this thread is out of a Canon 5DmkIII(or mkII for some of the older photos).

Thank you. Another of my hobbies is taking photos especially classic. It is a Canon EOS 450D with various lenses, most use the car in motion, is a lens, Canon 70 Zoom 100-400 mm.
It's a pleasure to make photos in Spa, Nürburgring or any other event. Best regards

@Mythos, how's the 911 experience going? I know it's 3 years later, but it's time to refresh the thread! Hope you are enjoying your 911!
