Finished sanding and buffing car today, 90 degrees made it a long hot day installed the new dash and rear euro silver trim lenses and new gaskets. Got a few boxes of new parts from our host, ya pelican! but can't use those yet. Waiting for the other boxes and the carb to get back to get to the next step

Thanks again everyone, it is encouraging when people like the choices you make.
Carter, I ended up buying one. It was in pretty good shape but it had to small of everything, so I dropped it off at a local shop and had them switch everything out of my old one into it and do an overhaul with new gaskets

Off to get headliner and carpet installed hopefully back this weekend. This is the first time I have seen it outside since it was buffed and kind of back together, and I have to say that it is coming together very nicely. You know how you hope things will come out and then you see it and maybe you are a little underwhelmed and start second guessing about what you could have done differently, well this was the exact opposite it was beyond my expectations. Not meaning to boast, just feeling really good right now about how it is all coming together Had to get a shot of the latest deivery, thanks Pelican!

Doing the car in chiffon presented some problems, wheel color and graphic color choices come to mind immediately. Unless you want to go black centers and black graphics, nice but boring, in my opinion. I think red, blue or green would be hard to pull off so I gave gold a shot. Always liked the mid 60's early 70's Ferrari's with the gold wheels especially the P4 and GTB/4 race coupes. Just got the graphics and the gold looks like it should compliment the wheels, I think, but you never know til it's on and you can step back and take a look. I of course took a lot of cues from the internet, and I really like a lot of things Magnus does. I did not want it to be a copy of anyones car but also wanted to have a broad appeal as it will be for sale when it is finished, so I had to restrain myself a bit. I think the next car which will be more for myself I can get a little more personalized and not be worried about having a wide audience because it won't be for sale.

Productive day today and only broke one thing! While I was figuring out mounting the msd and dealing with the wiring situation I leaned on the distributor cap and broke one of the spark plug connectors in the cap. At least that is not as expensive as breaking the carb! Sanded and buffed the bumpers, undercoated backsides with rubberized coating. Mounted the front and back bumpers and duck, put on a little vinyl hopefully finish that tomorrow. Trying to get ready to have pictures taken in the RS guise this weekend, and maybe if the stars align and I still have some energy I will switch out the duck for a plain decklid, take off the airdam front bumper and replace with S style and pull off the Carrera side graphic and replace with 3 bar PORSCHE side script and take more pictures It is getting there
