Thanks. Luckily there was no bent metal. Just a license plate frame imprint in the cover. Glad I was not in the 911!

Yeah that would have been ugly if you where driving the 911. Those pipes sound really sweat but I would imagine some nasty engine damage if you go rear ended. At the very least an expensive muffler and some exhaust studs would be broken

Shown up? Ha! Although I'm sure you could find a co-driver to help bring the car out without much problem. But with the weather the way it looks I don't think my car will be much of a show, even if I do bring it. By the time I get there the rain will have taken care of any shine.
Paul, you think Randall will let sellers use the body shop area if it rains?

He has already planned on it being inside. The left side of the building now has his lifts in it and the other side is strictly storage for junk, you know, Richards 962 and that kind of crap-o-la.

Will you work on the flying turd this week? I hope to see it running soon- you're the closest of all my peeps to having a running early car. Well, I guess Jamie's first car is running...hmm... What time is the swap meet getting going? Finishing time? Any rules? Table fees? Rust free '72 roller & title for $500?

Dave, I think the hours are 8-1:00. I don't know about fees or anything. Give Randall a call, 336-272-6336.

Car pool from Chapel Hill
Anyone from this area interested in a 911 caravan or carpool? I doubt my wife will want to go so I should have a free seat.

Ok, I'm bummed! Been planning on attending this Swap Meet for weeks. But of course, business gets in the way and I'll be 200 miles away. Have a great time and some one please post lot of pictures, etc.

Ok, looks like I was wrong. Arrived at the client to have him backstroke on working through the weekend. I am relieved.
When and where is everyone from Charlotte meeting to drive up on Saturday?

My car has been a little over 3000 miles since the oil was last changed, so my plans are to do an oil change this evening so I can drive it with some peace of mind. I picked up the oil last night, but I wasn't able to get a good oil filter so I'm going to look for one tonight. If I don't find one and/or I don't have time to do the oil change, can I catch a ride with someone at Krispy Kreme? Laura said she can take me to Krispy Kreme.

I can give you a ride if you need it Will. I'm still planning on 8:30 at KK, rain or shine. Anyone else going to be there? Let me know, I don't want to leave anyone behind, planning on pulling out by 8:45. We will be meeting Hal at exit 63 on the way. Tim, I think we will probably be at Randall's by 10:00.

My targa leaks too much for the forecasted weather tomorrow, so I will be driving my 4Runner. I am happy to be the "parts car" for anyone needing help brining something home from Greensboro.

Tim, unless you are coming in from the south, let's just get together at Randall's. Then maybe we can do some bench racing over lunch later. Sound ok to you?

I'd like to meet at Krispy Kreme on Woodlawn if that is still a go.
Thanks Ryan
