A,b,c,d,e,f,g.......
Whilst reading mechanical articles in mags I've never been able to figure out where the A, B and C pillars are actually located ?
Are they the pillars separating the windows, supporting the roof structure ? If so which ones are the A the B or the C.....? Do they stand alphabetically from sharp end to blunt end or vice versa ? Or are they structural pillars within the main body of the chassis ? ![]() |

Start at the windshield where the door meets it, thats the A pillar
End of door frame/ start of side window: B pillar End of side window start of rear window: C Pillar

The a pillar is the one between the windscreen and door, b pillar is behind front door, c pillar is
between the rear side window and the rear window.
