Advice Needed Pls - AC Pump & Modification to clear intercooler...
Hey guys
Before I go and look for a hard answer that isn't perhaps there.... Got the engine into the car the other week, and now working my way through a list of checks, making sure stuff clears, or how I'm going to re-route things. Car is a 1992 964 Turbo with a complete engine re-working project (described in mind numbing detail below), but a challenge which I knew I'd have to think about is how to run the AC lines, clearing the new TurboKraft full-bay IC I now have. It looks as though I don't need to rework the lines themselves; the factory fit 160º(ish) rigid>flexi lines actually sit under the IC and can be fastened to prevent damage. This is good, as it gives me more room to fit the required sized air filter between intake and bulkhead. ![]() ![]() However, the factory terminations are completely wrong and prevent the IC from being installed. ![]() So, as I see it, perhaps a few options.
Happy to be pointed in the direction of another thread if I'm repeat-posting Thanks in advance guys Spencer.
