Updated ATC Style Fuse Panel Owners
Hi Pelicans
If you've updated your 911 fuse panel via Fred Cook's design or other sources....did you also update the small 3-fuse block in the engine bay??? Here's what I did. It was easy.... and very inexpensive . ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Bought this small 4-fuse "mini panel" on eBay for $8.00! as you see it fits nicely on relay panel (drill and use small sheet metal screw) and if you mount it where I did.....YES you can put the plastic panel cover back without issues. Here's the link to where I purchased it. Best Wishes.... JT |

Great little update! Makes sense to update all the fuses and not leave a few old ceramic fuses in the circuits.
Like the fact that the cover still fits like the original design.

Thanks. That was my thinking as well. After the cost and effort to replace the main panel... no brainer to do the rear as well. And compared the main panel....this job this was nothing.
Made a little 2 to 3 connector for the power side.... (similar to the one Fred supplies) added the 3 female spade connectors for the 3 circuits + some heat shrink wrap for all.....and that's about it. It's literally like an hour job. JT |

For those who are doing the Fred Cook version, he offers a fuse panel for the rear as well. I just installed mine the other day.

That looks good as well. Like the terminal screws. I probably would've used it myself if I found that block before the one I bought. Looks like the plastic cover would fit over it as well in that location?? BTW- I didn't mention it in my first post....but yes...that's an extra unused 4th fuse slot. Didn't plan to wire it for anything.....will use it as spare fuse holder. JT |

More expensive and more elaborate, I installed a Painless Cirkit relay setup:
CirKit Boss Auxiliary Fuse Block/7 Circuits/WeatherproofDetails | Painless Performance Basically, heavy power feed from the starter, relay trigger from the red/white wire, then you have 3 always hot and 4 triggered circuits with fuses. I'm running my Megasquirt/MSD (x2)/O2/defog/injectors/spotlight with mine, makes for a tidy setup. If you're careful, you can squeeze it in where the OP mounted his fuse block.

Fuse Panels Front and Rear
Just in case anyone is curious, here is a picture of a pair of my fuse panels. The front is the deluxe version w/headlight relays. The rear (small) panel has 4 fuse positions so there will be a spare for future use. I have one of these in my SC and the spare came in handy when I was wiring up the twin plug Electromotive XDi iginition.
