I have made a set of PFC's for a DIY'er They Will Be Installed Reversing The Gases
Both these Proven Inventions USED TOGETHER will be installed by A West Coast DIY'er for the first time in his 911
The 911 A/C System will also use a Variable Orifice Valve VOV Instead of a Thermal Expansion Valve TXV |
The West Coast 86 Carrera Cabriolet DIY owner is on-board with me to also install as part of his installation besides "Reversing The Gases" Micro-Processor Control of SUPERHEAT & TEMPERATURES
|
Just for the record that's not slander, it's libel.
As in written, not spoken. Shaken, not stirred. |

Is that possibly how/why you got MINUS 3-4 PSI low side pressure during your "reverse the gases" test..?? Assuming the system was operable, no blockage to refrigerant flow upstream of the compressor inlet, how much "SuperHeat" would that equate to..? |

Have you considered an Iphone ap via Bluetooth for the top level control./display? Larger customer base if the console "factory look" can be left intact. |

This 911 HIGHLY MODIFIED EVAPORATOR Picture is from The Tan Swan COMPLETE A/C New Technology PROJECT I did over a year ago,
THIS IS NOT THE WEST COAST DIY 1986 SC Carrera Cabriolet 911 Evaporator! However, the Tan Swan had “REVERSING THE GASES” #3 installed and also USED VOV technology instead of a thermal expansion valve Note: the Tan Swan did not have DIGITAL SUPERHEAT or Temperature control; The Analog electrical controller you can see in the picture is for the highly modified evaporator & blower This picture is posted for the WEST COAST DIY 1986 SC Carrera Cabriolet 911 Evaporator OWNER! Note: This picture was taken during The TAN SWAN installation; The Smugglers box cover closes normally in the completed installation by carefully slightly bending the evaporator inlet tube just a little lets cover fit Perfect. (The Larger modified Blower motor however required smugglers box cover to be modified due to the height of the larger/taller blower motor) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1430063708.jpg |

Yeah, it was 97 with a"feels like" of 101 in Miami, was going to get the 911 out for testing, but couldn't due to family commitments , have to watch until the next heat wave.
The other P car's a/c is great though. |
HUMIDITY TODAY ONLY 45%
Heat Index = 106 F / 41 C @ 90 % Humidity Heat Index = 158 F / 70 C Heat Index Calculation |

Hey, look what I am selling in the Porsche 911 Tech forum.
Look at meeee and my invention. I am selling stuff in the 911 tech forum with no regard to forum rules or guidelines. I will post something everyday to keep it at the top of the thread list. |

You haven't yet answered that question or clarified your supposed FACTUAL statement. Without an answer must we assume you now sign off on long term operation at sub-freezing temperature..? Six of one, 1/2 dozen of the other. |
Thanks Das

I wonder...
Has it at all occurred to you that improving the heat transfer efficiency of the engine lid condenser has the same adverse side effect as adding my 2 Spal fans. Reduced cooling airflow effects for the engine.. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1430321989.jpg |
My pictures posted today are mostly for the DIY west coast owner getting my PFC's and discussions we are having about his install
THEY ARE NOT HIS 911 |
