You'd better edit this post and take everything out before Wayne reads it - he's not too keen on people posting about book deals from other sites when the book is available from Pelican.

I'm sure he hates it when people buy his books.

Any time I look for a book (EBAY or anywhere) I comparison shop at Amazon (don't forget shipping too).

After you buy a couple books at big Amazon savings you can then afford a $75 door handle assembly!

The book sold at Amazon will *not* include the bonus CD-ROM with the additional chapter, and the 3000+ extra photos. If you wish to buy the CD-ROM with the book, it's $6.95 (total $36.95). If you wish to buy just the CD-ROM, it's $17.95.

Either way, the big jungle book store doesn't have this title in stock - it's their stupid computer trying to second guess with the information that has been put into it.

How do I know this? Because the final markups for the book are sitting just to the left of my hand.

I'm guessing it won't be autographed either.

Speaking of Wayne's writing career: is it certain that the engine rebuild books from Pelican will be autographed? Also, is there an ETA on the BMW 3-series book, is it going to be autographed, and how much info will there be on the 325iX? There were only 6000 or so sold in the US, but from what I've read there are some significant differences with the AWD cars compared to the regular 325 models.

- Engine books will be signed if sold through Pelican.
- BMW book will cover E30 and E36 - probably not too much about the AWD cars
- BMW books will be signed too
- BMW is planned to be out Q1 2004 or Q3 2003.
