Engine install today...questions

Aloha, I have several questions, but I'll just ask the ones about the physical install now. I think I read the clutch cable and the throttle rod go above the trans mount plate, correct? I clocked my new hi torque starter to the 4th position as I have read. I installed it with the engine out, does this look right? will it fit in this orientation?

Thanks in advance. Cheers, Mike.

Your correct on cables and linkage above trans mount. As far as starter. I install mine after install.

OK thanks. I think you are right. I'll remove the starter. No sense in having to stop the install because the starter is in the way...DOH!
Cheers.

I always install the starter first and have never had any problems with it.

I always install the starter first, but mine it clocked so the battery stud is vertical.
