Question Need help with some reassembly odds and ends.

Hi all, I have a couple of questions about unconnected connections...
I believe this is for the unused external alternator voltage regulator. Is that correct?

I don't know what this is or where it connects.

Does it possibly connect to this hose that I think comes through the firewall??

And finally, do these two lines need to have something connected to them, maybe together??

That is your remote VR plug. If you have an internal VR leave it unplugged.
Not sure about all those other hoses. They don't exist on my '78

Thanks Dennis. I know the second picture tee is on the 1980-83 CIS diagram and not earlier.

last pic, just plug it is a throwback to 2.7.
Bruce

The one by the oil tank would be there if it were an 84 or later. If it taps into the oil tank, plug it as it is a cause for false air.

Thanks Bruce. I think it (By the oil tank) is on the aft end of the charcoal canister?
Plug the air box. Got it.

Anyone know what the goofy y-pipe is? Vacuum booster from ''80-83 CIS diagram?

OK, finally looked at my 81.

The hose with the Y. The end that is shown connected should go to that brass trombone tube that plugs into the throttle body. Does not show in your pic but assuming it does.

The Y end that is not connected plugs into the hose you say is coming from the firewall. It is the hose that feeds up front to your brake booster.

I can post a pic if you wish.

Also the "leg" points toward the front of the car and towards the ground at about a 45 degree angle. This allows the connector hose to the front to connect in a manner that routes it behind rather than "out there".

Thanks. I think that's the last one. Yippy. Now for fuel system tests.
