Please help, failed emissions again...
Well I failed the emissions test....
Had CO set to 0.9% at idle, and the CO and HC were better, but still failed. CO was 85.1 where pass is at 60.0 (it was 218 b4) HC at 5.4 where pass is at 2.00 (was at 7.16 before) Unfortunately the testors out here use a measurement that no wrenches have access to, so it's impossible to test it before going in, plus they use a dyno, futher impossible! Car is a Euro 930 with no air pump, cat, or O2 sensor... *sigh* I tried leaning it a little more and the CO actually went UP! Any ideas from the brain trust?

I have a 79 930 and had the same problem. I went to Autozone and bought a bottle of Berryman's "Emissions Pass Protection". It's a 15 oz bottle to mix with your gasoline. It also worked on my 1986 Trans Am. So I'm a true believer. Hope this gets you passed the SmOg NaZi'S.

you can create an air pump by plugging an injector line. find a plug with the same threads as the banjo bolt that holds the line to the fuel distributor. one cylinder is now an air pump, and the emissions will go down quite a bit. yes it will be running on 5 cylinders. so what?

John Walker's suggestion works..... I was helped through emissions in a similar way. I was given a fuel injector with the end brazed shut. I swapped the fuel injector on #6 just before I went through the test station.....passed emissions, then swapped back on the other side.
