Are these 02 Sensor wires?

I pulled these random wires out. I think my cat conv. has no 02, so these were just left dangling?

It's a 79 SC. There is a small 'pop' off throttle (under load). It revs up perfectly quick to 6000 with no load, but under load it seems to be under powered at lower RPM's.

Also idle is closer to 1200 rpm.

The pop off throttle is normal from what I've found with a cat delete pipe. Check your license plate lights and see if they're working. That seems too far back for the 02 wire unless it's just flopping around back there. BTW, my 3.2 seems to be under powered at lower rpm's that's why it gets driven in the 3000 to 4000 rpm range and up. Once you get above 3500 these cars wake up. Below that they're a little doggy.

Looks like the license plate light wires or the tail light harness with wiring for oil level in the harness.
79 does not use ox sensor system.

License or oil level on passenger side, license or euro fog lamp on drivers side.

Ahh yes! I see my license plate wires are not hooked up as I don't have lic. plate lights! These are just dangling but thank you fellas!

You guys are great

(I tend to worry and assume the worst, this is great news). And I did notice the 911 wakes up past 3000 RPM's.

Get it up to 5K or 6K and it'll put a smile on your face. BTW, I'd look into your idle a little. My 3.2 is supposed to be around 900 rpm, not sure what a 3.0 is supposed to be but i'm guessing not that high.

The plan is to change plugs, plug wires, do the valves then I'll set the idle. Not sure if this is the correct order. (It's the order for ACVW's).

(The car sat for long periods without being driven).

And it seems to be coming alive the more it's driven!

It had some 'groans' but I live on a dusty, bumpy road and the groans seem to have gone away. Except when I hit a bump, the steering wheel wants to take off on it's own (tie rods/ball joints are up next).
