Rocker arm bushing check and replace?
Since I'm rebuilding my motor, is it prudent to replace rocker arm bushings? (Although it appears that the whole rocker arm must be replaced...
How do you check them for wear? Thanks

I think you can just replace the bushings, but if they are worn, then the shafts are worn, too. Inspect the shafts, you'll see the wear. I did not put new bushings in. I just turned the shafts upside down.

Chris,
When I found out just how reasonable the cost was to re & re my motor's rockers and shafts, I sent 'em to CE. Send an e-mail to Walt at CE asking for details. I'm finding out this is the first class outfit just like everybody said it was.
