Front impact tube support bracket - RUST AGGGH
Hi there
I recently removed my front wings and on one side the drain channel was blocked by a stone (where the blue arrow points). It has caused the support bracket and inner wing to RUST. I have seen some detailed pictures of the repair process. However I am not sure how I remove the bracket (A). I think it is spot welded and its a case of drilling out the spot welds. Is this correct? Any other thoughts on this? Thanks Ed ![]() |

Yuup that happens.. I have to fix luckly just the drivers side on my 930. Was looking into this earlier this year and came across this post in the paint and body work section which seems to be the right way to take care of it. Good luck!

Yeah it's spot-welded on. Quite a few of the buggers too...

Is the bracket A available as a repair panel from our host? They don't seem to stock it.
