It would be nice to be accepted in the RGruppe community as their "attitudes" seem to be closely aligned w/ ours. At least more closely than a lot of the purists that seem to turn their noses up at our passions. If it makes the car go faster i'll buy it

I was feeling violently indifferent to everything...then poof!
swap6.org (maybe swapped6.org, but that doesn't flow as nice) just had another increment: swapR6.org hmmmm. |

Well,
Around here most competitive track cars have swapped to larger capacity engines under the guise of standard displacement. The favourite conversion for this crowd seems to be a 3.4L RUF spec engine based on a 3.2 Carrera motor. Installed in an SC (or even a '77 3.0L Carrera) so the car can still be run in the supposedly whimpy SC category - giving the driver golf ball sized cohonyas where peanuts actually reside. So in our case, these folks would'nt join a registry as they tend to stay in the closet for obvious reasons. Things must be fairer in the states. Not sure ehy I posted this, just felt like this would be the spot for it.
