Porsche Crest I am going through Wheel WIDTH WITHDRAWL

Well Fella's I have done it.. I have been stripping weight off the car bit by bit and she is copmming down in weight every month it seems and i still have the bumpers and hood and fenders to go until I am .we;; maybe even the doors in time so that she will be light and nimble.. for DE's and auto X's and just fun out back road driving! with all this going on.. I still had one thing to do that was get rid of my heavy OE 993 wheels and spacers. WELL they are gone and I am back on STOCKERS 6 & 7's and man they look sick!!! like a damn toyota or Honda... I know its for the best and I love the look of the FUCHS.. but I have to score some wide FUCHs to get these skinnies off!! anyway I am simply venting a bit,, I don't miss the heavy wheels one bit! but I do miss the 9" rear wheels... has anyone else seen the error of their ways and gone back to stockers after going to the more moderm wheel. I an NOW looking for a set of 17" light wheels like MAgnisium or some of the 17 FUCH like Jack has.. but until that day comes i will simply enjoy my skinnies!! hahahah

Eric Mckenna.
78SC that is for sure faster than Cornpanzers 70S.. I'll prove it to him once we get to a track or Auto X event!!!!
Hey.... Dave!! hahahaha

Eric,

It's still a PORSCHE! (and of course the best Porsche, a 911 )

I wish I wouldn't have sold my Fuchs, I like the wheels I have but I wouldn't dare track the car with the Mille Migilla's it has on it.
Plus, they weigh a ton.

I am sure your ride still looks sweet!! Post some pics.

Eric.....I dont know what makes you crazier in my eyes. Your delusional belief that your car is faster or that you took those cool wheels off of your SC. Man, those things made your car!!! I think that Me you and Embs are going to have to meet somewhere after work and have a beer to discuss all of this. BTW, the Fuchs that are for sale in SD are on my friend Mikes car. Thats a smoking deal...you should get them!

Thumbs up

Seeing that you live in Dayton, I think you should buy a set of Dayton Wire Wheels and support the local economy. They would look great on your car, you can get them in many sizes and offsets.....and they would match your "bling-bling" style of dress just perfectly!

Ok. Break it up ladies.

Give me call if you guys are going to meet somewhere for a beer. Like Cornpanzer, my 911 is up until the salt gets washed off the roads.

BTW, are you planning to join me this year at Mid-Ohio in April?

Noel
