WEVO shifter question
I've installed everything onto the shift base. I understand the laws of physics are working against me, but left to right movement is REALLY stiff. I imagine once it's attached back in the car it won't seem so "heavy"? I thought it was going to provide a little resistance.

Install it and see how it feels. You can swap out the springs for different tension. I went with the stock springs for the race car, and lighter springs for the street car.

Wevo Spring Tension
Normal - install and feel the love.
It is surprising how strong the springs are when you hold the base in your hand and move the shifter back and forth, meanwhile I think you will find the tension's just right with the base mounted. Gordo

Thanks guys!! I now see Wevo sells a spring kit.
I'll get it installed and see how it feels. I imagine it will be fine. Todd

Could hardly move the lever against the springs with the assembly in hand-- installed in the car its perfect for me. I suspect you'll find it to feel quite normal once installed. Good luck with the rest of the job!
