Getting close. Exhaust tips are on but not powder coated yet. Car needs a bit of tune on the low end. But we are real close. Mike Bruns will be doing the final touches tomorrow!

Well she's home!
Big thanks to Mike Bruns again! The guys at Speed Syndicate here in St Petersburg and all the parts suppliers we used and there were lots. Big thanks to the Pelicanites here on the forum for guidance as well when they spotted something wrong or noticed something that could be done better or changed for the better. The experience and knowledge on this board is great! Also big shout out to William Knight for this exhaust set up. I hvent driven it much today because I picked it up at lunch time and its about 98 degrees here in central Fl. So It was a sketchy hot drive to say the least trying to feel the car and all its new parts out. I did however stretch her legs a bit on one of the bridges and made it to 5K RPMs in 4th gear before I had to back off. I can asure you she's all there and some! I honestly was shaking when I got back and still haven't exactly calmed down. Its been a heck of a day. Here are a few pics from when Mike came over to St Pete to sort of do a final tune and look over on the baby after it was installed. I will have some more vids coming once I get settled in and stop shaking! The man the myth! Final look around on the lift before a test ride (yes the tailpipes have been fixed but still need some work, good for now) Finally back home in her lil shed!

Chris, first off it was a pleasure to help with this build, your patience and desire to see it completed is great to witness in a time where many buy a production super car and blend in with the rest, The satisfaction of doing this and seeing the response from this great site is wonderful.
I know you will love becoming friends with your 911 again, enjoy it and be careful ! Thanks, Mike Bruns

Nice.. sounds good. Looks great!
What diameter tubing is on the exhaust.. 2.5" ? I think I need to try another Dynomax muffler. |

Mike did a great job, he is one of the good builders.. For the forum please tell or give a video of the muffler sound while driving the car when it cools down of source. I personally think it is less noise than a GT3 muffler, I realize at wide open throttle above 5k it will make some noise but we want that... I don't think it has the drone noise we hate.. Thanks for the kind remarks. I wanted to post a few detailed engine bay/motor shots of Mikes creation now that I have had a chance to run her for 500 miles. She pulls and bucks like a pissed off rodeo bull and at the same time drives like a normal car at normal throttle! I prefer the rodeo bull.....videos coming soon.
PS My girlfriend wants to learn to drive the car..... Should I do it?

Just wiping the drool up..... looks awesome!
BTW you went with the Dynomax muffler right? It sounds very tame, how does it sound when you get on it? |

Hopeful he puts some video of the muffler sound, I think it is a big help to everyone and makes excellent power for the noise level. I am not selling the muffler, It is an inexpensive muffler that works great. I am glad his car is now fun to drive , looks great. William Knight

Pelican parts.
Just picked up the muffler from powder coat. I did the muffler and tubing including the tips in ceramic coat flat black.
