				Negative or Positive grounded?? Please help
			 
			Gents,  I have a 69 911E with dual battery set up...My CTEK charger arrived and I am in the process of charging the two batteries within the car,BUT I do not know if the vehicle is positive or Negative grounded, please assist as I am dying to get on the road and take her for a spin. 			Thanks 82SC.. yes, the 69 911E and other models of that era came equipped with two batteries, one stashed in each side of the wheel well...believed it was to offset the balance when they used lead or similar heavy weight in the front bumpers to keep the front end of the car for better handling and control...I am sure some one with more knowledge can chime in and give a better understanding of the reason why it was designed like this.

			Both of my batteries are low and not sufficient to turn the car over, hence I am charging the car with the batteries in the car because to get them out is a real pain in the @#$...

			Your car is negative earth. The batteries are wired in parallel and charging one will charge the other as well. If you have conventional batteries (not sealed or AGM), pull them and be sure the water level is correct.

			If your charger is like most chargers, if you hook the leads up wrong there is a protection with it that keeps the charger from damaging the batteries.
