wow check out some of the fabrication details on this R Gruppe street track goodness

I am a sucker for masterful craftsmanship when fabricating. Check some of the over the top details on this car.

Here is a small preview: Look how the tab holding the headlights is recessed into the top of the fender - like a Ferrari shield on a car with factory shields. Just awesome.

Nice work.....not so thrilled with the side graphic location. A little too low, looks funky.

The zoom tubes would not be the best for the street.....%^)

yeah its got to be ungodly loud. But it still has the exhaust cut out on the rear bumper so you could choke it down to a 2 in 1 out :-) I bet the slide valves would not like that.

I am not a fan of red yellow either, I would change the graphics to white or silver/grey. I guess then it would not be a tribute?

What is going on on each side of the rear grille? Maybe I should know, but I am coming up blank. Maybe space the tall inlet and air screen?

Tall stacks on the carbs I would guess. They either stick out the grill or you make a custom cover.

Cool details. A bit rich for my blood, but a cool car.

Yes definitely rich

I suppose the headlight tabs are on glass fenders where it's the only way to hold them on. ??

I remember seeing this car at the phoenix club 3 years ago, I was standing right there when he fired it up. This thing sounds wicked, almost like a formula 1 car. I have a 1 minute video but I can't get it to load.

The flush-mount window fastening is really pretty too!

I see a lot of the Andial's special treatments on this one. They liked to mount the ignition stuff on the rear wall with rubber isolators/buffers and did it in a nice aluminum tray.

I saved a few pictures to use as guides for things to do on my perpetual racecar resurrection. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah I like the windows, I love that most of the stuff you could do at home if you were willing to take the time and think out the solution. good stuff.

Wow - a ton of money here. The problem is the lack of provenance. At this price level paper is pretty important.

true, it's like having the most expensive house in the neighborhood, you might be better off buying in a different part of town...

Sure the provenance is important. But a person even vaguely familiar with the work of Andial will easily recognize the "fingerprints" of their work in this build.
