Changed Rear Shocks - Clunking?
Just replaced my rear shocks and on my test drive I am getting a hard clanking noise from the rear when I hit bumps. I was not sure about the rubber spacers on the top of the shock? My old ones had one spacer, but the new ones came with two. Should I have used both? When bouncing the rear end I can hear it, and I can also see the pasengers side top mount move more than I suspect it should? This makes me question rubber spacers?

Two spacers, one above and one below the frame.

The rubber spacer fell off the top of the passenger side before I placed the nut on it. Have to assume that was it. Figures the absolute worst %^#" nut and that is the one I have to remove and then put back on. I think I got it!
