HELP: I Need 3.2 injectors

OK, so my 1974 911 is about ready to come home after a complete resto but the new 3.2 won't run well. The very knowledgeable and reputable shop has diagnosed everything and is convinced the injectors need replacing......even after a thorough cleaning. While there may be lots of great recommendations about cleaning injectors and folks that do it, fact is, I just want new injectors at this point. I want the car back already and don't want another 2-3 week delay pulling injectors, sending them out then waiting to get them back. Problem is he can not seem to source them. Where can I get injectors for a 1984 euro spec 3.2 without getting ass raped? Certainly there is something out there as there are a ton of 3.2s still on the road.

Injector Dynamics.... nothing else even needs to be discussed.

Looks like they have a set of ID750's for 84-88 non turbo for $720

After thinking about this further, I do not think these will work for you if you have a stock ECU. But, their site will give you a ton of good reading and education on the subject of injectors

3.2s often suck the lower intake gasket inward, causing an intake air leak that kills the cylinder at idle/low rpm.

If you're going to get injectors anyway, you should check out this thread. Modern injectors plus MAF your 3.2 will run amazing.

Running a set of rebuilts from AUS Injection, bought them on Amazon a few months ago. Hard to beat with prime shipping also if your in a bind and need them quickly. No issues, about 1500 miles on them so far.

Rebuilt are not the same as new, and I don't know of any one selling new ones anymore.

But if you can find these
0280150360 or 0280150364 they will work just fine in the 84-89 3.2L

Tippy,

One of the reasons I decided to build these solution was the fact that the injectors are aging and getting very hard to find. Then I realized I actually could build something much more modern with better modern fuel injectors and a better far superior air meter. If you can find stock OEM new injectors they will run you $700-$800 for set of 6 then a new air meter will run another $1000 or more talking new parts here not rebuilds. At that cost it just makes sense to upgrade to something better.

Thanks for the support over the years.

If you have spent the $$ for a restoration, then don't stop until you have spoken with Sal. Best money on a car that I have ever spent.

Anywho, if I ever build a 3.4 liter, it seems like I'd want all of Sal's goodies on there.
