1987 headlamp switch illumination?

My headlamp switch doesn't light up. From what I can tell in the Haynes manual, there isn't a bulb, but I want to make sure. If someone would confirm, I would appreciate it?

Steve

My headlight switch doesn't light up, but my foglights switch does. 1988 Coupe.

I wondered about that too on my 87, but it seems that the HL switch is not lit.

no light in there. you can pop the little plastic cap/ headlight sign with a small screwdriver or pick, all you will find is a 10mm screw holding the knob in place

No light. Under the little plastic cap is the nut that holds the switch in place on your dash.
