Window regulator

Hi All!
I got some used window regulators for my 71 911T. Now I see that they have a much smaller bolt pattern compared to my old (broken) ones.

What do I have? Will they work for me?

Thanks for any input.

Help me identify window regulator

Hi All!
I have looked at my doors and there are markings for the bolts but no holes. See picture where the yellow arrows are.

Anyone who could tell me what I have. Or should I look for another set of regulators?

Thanks for any input,
Jörgen

Is your car a coupe or a targa? The only regulators I can find that match your photo are for targas, and that may be why the bolt holes don't match.

Is that regulator for the driver's door?

My car is a coupe. And this is the passenger, right side.

Thanks for your input.

The early window regulators differ from the later ones. The replacement ones you have are from a post 73 911, hence the difference in mounting holes. They will still work but you'll need to drill the yellow narrowed holes and attach through them. The chances of finding decent early regulators is slim so I'd go with what you have.

Thanks! That was what I was hoping for. What got me thinking is that when I searched for pics on regulator I didn't find any as these. And I was intrigued that the holes were "prepared" on my doors.

What differs between targa and coupe regulators? Could I measure the arms so I'm sure they will work on my coupe?

The targa regulators had an additional part welded onto them so they could have an adjustable travel stop built into the regulator. Without window frames, targas relied on this travel stop to limit the upward travel of the windows.
