Electrical lights problem

Hi, i have a 911 1986. I have intermittent problem with my marker light, flasher light rear and front, right and left. Suddenly, flasher dont run, after one day, it run again. I have check the bulb and replace it. Both side of the car. This is the same for marker light. One day, I test the current into the socket (marker light), no current found. A day later, the marker light is ok. Do you have a way to check ?
Roger.

Try switching your flasher relay with another and see if your relay is at fault

+ 1 for bad earth/ground, check those first, especially on all 4 lights, one side at a time

Hi, do you know where is the ground 414 ? I can`t find it. I cleaned the ground 106. Theses two grounds are linked with the rear lights. The 106 was in very bad shape with oxidation.

Okay, the best thing to do is carefully remove the light assemblies and look behind them where the wires are connected for corrosion or loose connectors. If you live in a heavy wet area the connections can get pretty corroded. My car came from Tennessee, the connectors were pretty corroded and not allow full continuity. Yes, the ground wires are in the back of the assemblies.

Even though the fuse may look good, grab with your finger tips and rotate/spin them, if loose versus a known good fuse, replace it, this will also lap them to the fuse holder if there is some corrosion on them not allowing a full contact.

I would also gently pull on the wires going in and out of the fuse holders, sometimes they get loose.
