That's a brake line hose. Goes on the brakes.

And I think that pan is a belly pan that covers the front suspension....

Wayner,

Can you get a better pic of the 'rubber' pieces that are on the edges? Also a short description, are they rubber, foam? Never seen them before.

They are just a sticky backed rubber that doesn't seem to stick very well.

The rubber looks like an avert bought ( or, without spell checker, an afterthought )

The pan looks identical (or very close at the very least) to the cover that goes under the Steering rack/suspension on my 1971T. Mine doesn't have the rubber strip (which does look like a home-made replacement) for the rubber strip that is on mine which has a U-shaped profile like simple rubber seal. I think it is there to stop fine gravel being kicked up and finding its way into/onto the cover and sitting there for months/years.....

Cheers, Neil

That is a weird, camo-themed, boot/sandal/shoe hybrid thingy (far right of pic). I think those are supposed to go on the feet of twentysomething hipsters (no sure, though)! Looks like a bare foot is inside of it, so beware of fungal growths if contemplating purchasing it!
