Question on early vent window differences

Could someone take me to school on the difference / fit of these two window frames for my '74 coupe. Looking to replace my fixed windows with opening front vents.

It appears the newer windows have the shorter front post?

The one on the left, shorter leg, is from a 68 coupe and is made from polished aluminum. The longer leg is from pre-68 and is chrome plated brass. Both will fit, but the chrome finish will not match the 74 trim. Also, the brass frame likely has a separate wind flair at the rear (b-pillar side) whereas the aluminum on the 74 will be molded into the frame.

Thanks L.J.

Is the aluminum harder / easier to refinish than the brass ones? I believe by the time you get both done they are in the same range, but wanted to ask.
