I want to re-install the front seats in my Porsche 911 1985. Does it matter whether the beveled edge of the threaded plate is facing up or down or point to the front or the back?
Maybe a stupid question, but why is it beveled? Thanks, Kees ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Someone put a piece of bar stock in a machine that sheared off a chunk. That makes it a dinosaur, an ancient relic of the past.

No, it does not matter but if you want to pass concours, beveled should face down, flat portion on the rail.
