Our host sells World Upholstery kits to recover 911 front seats. Has anyone on this board installed one of these recently? What was your install experience-easy or hard? Good fit or not? What fabric did you choose?

Did my 83 sc seats with world upholstery leather kit I found new on ebay in correct OEM color for $500. Took a few hours per seat but i was very impressed at the high quality and prefect fit of the kit. In fact, my kit even had new listing wires so I only had to reuse a few of the OEM ones. All I had to buy was a good set of cutters for the old hog rings, new hog rings, and hog ring pliers. Well worth it in my book. Tim

I was curious if the leather from World Upholstery is any different than from another interior upholstery site? I ordered a sample of Cashmere Beige from WU and a sample of the same from Autoberry. The colors were close enough but the grain on the WU sample was much finer and the leather appeared to be thicker. Autoberry's front seat kit is $400 less than WU but if it really is thin, like the sample seemed to be, then I don't want to waste money on something that's not going to last as long as it should.

Autoberry is not thin but actually pretty thick and plush. At least thicker than OEM

I just ordered these from Amazon...leather charcoal black $299 pair. We'll see how it goes.
They take about a month to get. They sent me an email right away to distinguish the style of the seat. They had three examples of the comfort seat made between 1984-1989. So far so good.

If the lseat leather is comparable to the autoberry leather then I can even get them professionally installed for about the same cost as just the leather seats themselves.

Will wait for a report back from Rich Gas on his order.

Contact them, they are sending me a swatch of lobster colored leather to compare.
I couldn't discern between the different red colors on their site.

I just received a set in black leather for an 82 from lseat. It looks and feels nice. I will post photos once I put them on, but it will be my first try at this, so I don't expect a whole lot of compliments.
