Awesome! I got to get mine done as my valve guide seem to be done, plus burning a bit too much oil than it should. Did you do any upgrades?

Name of shop might be helpful to many ... surely good publicity isn't a crime ?
I could have really used a good pcar shop in Albany about 4 years ago when trying to buy a car remotely there.

4,200 dollars for a couple of oil lines and spark plug replace? Fair price? I'd say not. I charge that for R&R heads and a valve job + parts of course.

I believe that's what he said he had done...he mentions the machining of heads etc. in the first comment. A 'top end'....I don't do facebook so no Idea what you are referring to.

Jeff,

What were done regarding 'all machine work'? This could be anything from simple exhaust studs extraction and repair, broken head studs, to complete cylinder head job etc. $4200 for a top end rebuild including complete cylinder head job (new valves and guides) is a very good price. I estimated that:

Complete cylinder head job................$1200~$1500
Top end rebuild kit............................$300~$400
Parts and other supplies....................$300+
Labor............................................. .($2.2K ~ $2.5K)

A good top end rebuild by a professional shop at this price is a bargain. Hard to beat this offer.

Tony

Awesome! There is a shop close to me and they work on our cars, I will call and ask since they don't have any info on their site. Anyway enjoy it, I'm sure the cars is performing a hell of a lot better now!
