empty relay sockets

i have 2 empty relay sockets, 1 in front trunk for the fog lights and 1 in the engine compartment for rear window defroster. i have neither installed on my car, should i remove these sockets or is there any problems with leaving them in the car without relays connected.

The wiring harnesses came with wires, connectors and features (such as relay sockets) for all possible options; cheaper than the expense of having to deal with too many different versions of harnesses. There is no harm in the empty sockets and to remove them you'll have to tear the wiring harness apart and in some cases unsolder wires. We left my son's '73T wiring harness intact even when we retaped sections of it. Jim
