Post Performance Products Fuchs replicas

I'm looking for a set of 8 and 9 x 16 Fuchs for my car but am having trouble locating a good set. Performance Products offers a replica that looks good and the price is certainly right. Anyone have any experience with this particular replica? I know the real Fuchs wheels would be lighter but...

They are made in Japan as far as I know. Regarding quality I'm not sure? Anyone with these wheels?

I used the P.P. 16x8's on the rear. I am very satisfied, they come with simi-polished lips and black backgrounds and match the polished lipped genuine 16x7's I used on the front. For the money, they are a good value. They actually are manufactured in Japan by a company that casts OEM wheels for many Japanese cars.

Eventually, I will probably grab a set of original 16x8 Fuchs, but no one has ever noticed they aren't real when just looking at the car. Harvey Weidman has some of the real things if you're interested...they won't be in the $350 range however.
You can see my rear rims at the link below...

Has anybody used the PP replicas on the track? Not for racing, but for DE. I've also just about given up on finding a pair of 8" Fuchs and wondered if the PP replicas are strong enough for DE use.

I did get an email from Performance Products today and they said their reproduction wheels weigh twice what a real Fuchs does. Guess that pretty much eliminates them, at least for me.

Fuch replicas are specifically banned from my region's (North Country Region) DE events or at least they used to be.
