Finding a front end for a 996 C2 2002?

Hi!

I was wondering where I could possibly find a used front end for a damaged 996 Carrera 2002? Here are the pics:

Is 23 000$ US a good price? What do you think about the feasibility of the project?

Thanks!

Lots of very expensive little pieces there, Yan. How much more money are you planning to throw at the car?

are you keeping the car for yourself or will you sell it?

how many people would pay, say, $45k for the repaired car after seeing the damage pix?

Hi!

I'm going to keep the car for myself, I thought that it was a great personal project. I want to invest as less money as possible, as long as it doesn't get over the price of a high mileage 1999-2000 996. Is it possible? Is there any used parts source except Porsche Parts Heaven?

Thanks!

Well, if you managed to pick up a car that had suffered a rear-end impact, then you could always do a cut and shut - that's probably the best (cheapest) way to do it. Is it possible? I'd say yes, if you have *a lot* of time on your hands, never want to sell the car, and are prepared to do all the work yourself.

I'd just buy a 993 instead...
