I think it has been done both ways Craig. I removed mine and have yet to order the 930 trim to replace it. It fits nice all the way around, but I did have to remove a little excess metal on the back of my right light housing. For some reason it hung down just enough to hit the fiberglass.

Nearing the end of my labor
Added the badge, went with ducktail. Finally waxed the car, and now it looks like this, after a lot of work--basically total DIY paintjob of the entire car going back and forth and redoing everything that didn't come out well enough. It's hardly perfect, and I'm pretty much happy with it.
More pics at my site below. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but if any of you that missed out on the group buy are still interested in a Ruf front bumper, I have posted one for sale in the parts section.

I didn't get mine through the group buy but finished putting it on this weekend. Here is a pic. No major troubles putting it on, just took my time, made it fit as good as possible, had it painted, added grill and lower spoiler lip and bolted it on.

Nice Craig! I have to say that is one of the best looking ruf updates I've seen and one of the few times the late model wheels have looked right on an early car

It sure is amazing how much cleaner the lines look now on your cars. Not to mention you can get rid of all that rubbler cleaner for the bellows and trim! How is the fit and finish of the front turn signals? I cant quite see from the pictures. Also, are you using any black beading to trim the bumper to fender?

Thanks, I did use the rubber welting. The fit & finish from BW was pretty good. The turn signal openings were ok, I had to do a little grinding on the fog light openings. When I get a chance, I will post a picture with my track wheels & trim, it's a different look. Thanks again, Craig

Hi Brian, Everyone loves Iris, but my wife, she Calls the car Iris the Slut. I have to say, I probably spent to much on her, Iris that is.
George, the Carrera decals are vinyl. I got them from Mike Zois here on line. Mike, I'm sorry if I spelled your last name wrong. Craig
