You did see the RCT Evo thread didn't you? Now I'm really thinking Ruf conversion ... but the black Carrera is a very good candidate for the conversion...alas, I never got the bumpers when the price was right. It'll have to wait.

All,

I am about to reassemble my 930 with its new Ruf bumpers but I am not sure about the mesh that will cover the front oil cooler air dam and the holes where the fog lamps used to be ...

Having looked through this post again it seems that black looks a lot better than stainless stell or aluminium mesh however in some of the pictures, for example this one

there seems to be more to it than just mesh ...

Bill V or Souk or someone, can you please help? I just gotsta have this car back together again by Friday!!!

The grill is made from an OEM rear deck lid grill, it is just cut down to size. You would need two to do the grill and fog lights. I have one I could sell, I would have to see what they are going for. Let me know.

Bill V used the engine lid grille to make his mesh for the oil cooler opening and fog light holes.

The grille to use is that from an spoiler-less engine lid. Carrera whaletail or 930 tea tray doesn't have the grill you want.

Yep, I would use the plastic decklid grill just like Pie and Kevin have mentioned. If you are crafty and have a welder, you can make one out of metal (alum.?).

I have a couple of those grills too, but I've not priced them lately. I did buy on a long time ago for $85.

I'd REALLY like to see some sort of splitter on the RUF style bumpers.
Like yerman sez - "Has anyone seen a carbonfiber front splitter on these bumpers?"

Or any sort of splitter? IMHO, they really need one --

Isn't Yerman's bumper the modified CTR bumper from BW Motorsport?

I recall midway through our group buy, that Brad modified the bumper for us...read back in this thread if you want history on it.

I will be visiting (picking up parts) with Brad at BW Motorsport in the near future...maybe I can get him to make a splitter.
