Souk,

I'm very interested! I missed out on the last buy and have been drooling over all of these great updates ever since. Put me on the list.

Thanks,

My red ruf conversion

The engine in my 74: My son, John, did the rebuild and install of the engine. To me, it looks like a job the factory would have been proud of.

I'm interested.

If somebody could help, I'd like to know what the dimension of X is in the attached image. Thank you.

My 74 nearing completion

It took half a day yesterday and today but I finally got the new upholstery installed on the right door. It was redone in leather with 'french stitching' by Robert Budd at Classic 9. 'The holes in the door do not necessarily line up with the pieces, and I had a heck of a time with the inside door handle.

I agree, Robert Budd's work is beautiful. I am sure my problem is that the 'new plastic door backer board' and the new 'plastic map pocket' are designed for cars a little newer than my 74. Also, my car has a 74 door on the right side and an 87 door on the left side, and they are not exactly the same as far as upholstery mounting holes are concerned. Roberts leather work is beautiful. See my picture above.

Interior

Thought I would post another picture. This is of the interior of my RUF conversion. Knob idea came from Magnus. Radio and Heater Delete came from me.

The console is a Porsche Special Wishes piece as provided years ago through Alan Johnson Racing and was ordered by the previous owner.

I recently decided to reconfigure the center panel to my liking, and had Robert Budd recover the unit along with some other interior pieces.

I really like your center console. I have seen a center console that was only as wide as the opening when you remove the ash tray. This one looks wider than that. Do you have a picture with it installed in the car?

Cool pictures!

When I bought my car in 2008, som Swedes had wanted to make it into a yellowbird, but newer really got there. But they did cut of the rain rails from the roof:

I am in the proces of getting the car back to being an F-model again - the car is a 1972 911S

Another ST-build - this time from Denmark

In that process I need to cut of the whole roof and get one with rain rails welded on. Such a pitty, as my roof is in really good condition. I guess it will be up for sale...
