Front bumper was sourced 2nd hand in Belgium (someone who is also active on Pelican)

Rear bumper was sourced from Hahn Gfk in Germany, very high quality piece.
HAHN GFK RACINGPARTS FOR PORSCHE CARS

Ducktail which will be installed comes from Van Thull Development in the Netherlands, also high quality.

If you make it to Germany, visit the Ruf Workshop. A very nice 1.5 hour drive southeast of Stuttgart about halfway to Munich.

I stopped in unannounced and they walked me through the entire shop and I even got to see the prototype 2017 CTR. What a beauty. Across the street is a combination authorized Porsche Service Center and Ruf warehouse with several hundred cars waiting to be repaired, restored, or modified. I even got a nice DVD on the history of the company.

A very nice older gentlemen and his wife spoke with me for quite a while. It wasn't until I got home and watched the DVD that I realized it was the Rufs. Very neat and friendly people throughout the workshop.

This looks good, the 964 Tail Lights give it an updated look. What did you use for the front grill and fog light area? Can we get a close up shot.

Also how much is the car lowered or is that stock Euro ride height?

Do you have a picture like this?

I'd like to see the profile of the wheels/tires with the rear fender/bumper extensions.

Thanks!

I believe that is Alois Ruf. He is the Chief Executive and Managing director of Ruf. I think it would be fair to say that he person behind the creation CTR.

Front grill and fog light area are covered with black mesh grill (as the standard Carrera spoiler grill is too large and there is no clearance for the oil cooler)

Car is currently lowered to 63 cm front + back.

Most people cut up a stock plastic engine lid grill to make the front grill(s)

Anyone figured out a way to mount a U.S. front license plate on a CTR/Yellowbird front bumper that doesn't look like scheiße?

I would go with the electronic version like this one.

What have you guys been using as tow hooks / straps in combination with RUF CTR bumpers?
I prefer them not to be exposed all the time so found a neat solution for the rear by hiding it behind the license plate light. There is a nut welded on the aluminium subframe which is mounted on the shock absorbers. (I'll only screw it in for trackdays)

Anyone knows how RUF did it on the original CTR's?

Any suggestions for the front?
As I'm not running fog lights I'm considering fabricating a bracket mounted to the bumper bars which will hold a tow strap. I'll cut up the mesh covering the fog light opening so I can pull out the strap whenever needed.

Thanks Geronimo!
If you're talking about rear fog lights in the center reflector, I've wired them to the brake light to have increased visibility.

In the front I don't have fog lights, that's why I want to use their location for the tow strap.

Finishing up the exhaust, final bodywork adjustments, electrical updates, and lowering the car. Will post pictures soon.

I have the same issue here in MA.
Have yet to locate viable solution. Ideas?
