Michael....WOW!!!
A crack developed in my dash this winter and you have given me the inspiration to fix it and recover myself...great job!
What was the cost of the vinyl and how much did it take?
BTW, Teresa says hello.

Hey Ben! I think it was $26/yard. I can get you the model #. 1 yard is plenty! Hi Teresa!

If anyone is interested in a DIY on installing a new dash pad; please take a look at the link below:

Hideous Dashboard Restoration Attempt.

Here is a quick update for you guys. While the vinyl on top was restored, there was still some work to do with the bolts and plugs. A bit of por 15 and Epoxy and we should be ready to install later today or tomorrow.

Finally home! This was my first Dash for the removal and install, and it's definitely not completely concours quality, but I'm really happy with how it turned out. I have the clips in, and tomorrow I will bolt it in.

I am slightly regretting not wrapping it in leather, but I'm happy with how it looks right now.

That is a fantastic effort, what a save. Love it when the originals are fixed as opposed to replace for new. Looks fantastic as well, top job..
To the untrained eye that would have been bin food, greta to see it back in the car looking awesome.

I had actually already tossed it behind my trash cans...and dug it out the next day. Thanks man.

The final shot. I cleaned up the vents today, painted underneath the dash where it would show, and painted the vents as well.

I am using VHT rollbar and chassis paint, which is rated for 250°, and has a nice satin finish that is perfect for trim – in a Porsche 911.

Couldn't be happier with how it looks. Now to get the rest of the car done, LOL.

I think you are going to get a lot of personal satisfaction every time you get in the car looking at that.

Looks fantastic, Michael. BTW that VHT Rollbar and Chassis paint is my favorite satin black also.
Good luck,
Dave
