What does this plug go into?
I was removing the radio when this plug fell out of the dash. I think it was part of the a/c system?

Auto heat.
That plug is for the Auto Heat sensor.
If you do not have Auto Heat, just put it back & tape it down. Gerry

Is that plug located behind the dash? Maybe other folks with autoheat issues have it unplugged? I am going to check mine.

Very coincidental, I found that same plug just left of my radio under the dash this past week when I replaced it. Just hanging in the mass of wires. Wondered what it was but then its not the only orphan plug I've encountered so I can't obsess about everything. 10 year old Alpine's CD player wouldn't unload the CD so while a minor problem, got another unit from Crutchfield. A lot has changed with music in the past 10 years.
